Are you seeking a stable, long-term conveniently located opportunity in a thriving local industry? Look no further! A San Antonio-based corrugated box company is on the lookout for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Identify issues, replace parts, and adjust equipment for optimal performance
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with company guidelines
  • Apply expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to troubleshoot and repair production machines effectively
  • Collaborate and train maintenance personnel to ensure all repairs are completed promptly and accurately
  • Read and comprehend instructions on factory masters and work orders to execute tasks accurately
  • Comply with all company policies, including safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Complete any other assigned duties to support operational efficiency
 
Requirements:
  • Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen 
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • 2 – 3 years of experience and knowledge of working with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, understanding product layouts and production specifications, as well as quality standards to maintain product integrity
  • Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate
  • Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 100lbs
  • May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certifications to work in specific areas or on certain equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
 
 
Schedule: 
  • Full Time – Regular Day Shift Schedule
  • May be required to make emergency repairs outside regularly scheduled hours
 
Pay Rate: 
  • $20-$22/Hour
