Job Description
A long-standing tractor trailer company in SE San Antonio proudly distributes the Commercial Trailer and Truck Body brands you trust, serving the entire states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Northern Louisiana. They have an immediate need for a Trailer Body Technician!
This is the perfect position for someone who is mechanically inclined and is willing to train and learn because this company is willing to teach! This opportunity is a chance to advance your skill set and experience that can help further your career!
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment, and safety precautions
- Perform maintenance and repairs as needed on service equipment
- Perform work at a quality level consistent with WNTC standard practice
- Perform welding procedures and assembly in compliance with WNTC
- Perform repairs on air brake systems/suspensions
- Perform various trailer repairs, panels, lighting, door locks, and trims
Requirements:
- Certifications in welding or mechanic-related work preferred
- Must have a basic set of tools and be willing to gain more tools necessary for assigned jobs
- Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:
- $17-24 /Hour
- Depending on experience
Location:
- I10 and Ackerman area – 78219
