Tool and Die Technician
Job Description
We’re hiring a Tooling & Die Technician who can take ownership of builds, ensure precision during assembly, and support tooling performance from start to production.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, mechanically skilled, and confident working with measurements, inspections, and equipment to deliver quality results every time.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling molds and tooling components to ensure proper shut-off and no defects during trials
- Operating grinding and manual milling machines to manufacture and rework tool components
- Inspecting tooling using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision instruments
- Troubleshooting tooling issues during production and making necessary repairs or adjustments
- Performing preventative maintenance and replacing worn or damaged tool components
- Supporting tool trials, ensuring quality standards are met before releasing to production
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in tooling, mold assembly, or grinding required (MIM or similar environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
- Experience operating grinding machines and manual machining equipment
- Ability to read drawings, follow specifications, and maintain tight tolerances
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 10AM – 6PM
- Potential overtime and weekends when required based on business needs
Pay Rate:
- $19/Hour
