Project Manager - Home Audio/Video Installation Technician

Do you have experience in A/V Home Installation? Do you show strong leadership skills? A high-end audio/visual company is looking for experienced technicians who can not only install A/V home entertainment and security systems in the Houston area, but who can also supervise and lead a team as the Project Manager

  • At all times and above all else, protect the interests of the company and its owners  
  • Check on sites daily/weekly/monthly and update involved parties as to phase status
  • Review bids generated by the sales team and translate them into scopes of work, then enter those scopes of work into CRM software
  • Verify if materials needed for upcoming projects and ensure items are procured
  • Review site reports from the previous day, ensure follow up visits are created and updated as needed
  • Coordinate scheduling needs between the customer and office. Ensure project phases are completed within the agreed upon timeline. Coordinate schedules, between customers, vendors, and internal resources
  • QC inspections on sites after install. Including taking, uploading, markup, and tagging of site photos
  • Mark up of pre-install photos with notations
  • Mark up pre-install plans using adobe products
  • Meet with vendors to ensure they have a full understanding of project scope
  • Maintain operational awareness of other projects on the schedule even if you are not the one managing that specific project 
  • Manage on site install process and team
  • Ensuring hourly employees take lunches daily, are sent home early when they are not needed, and managing overall labor hours on site
  • Verify staff has arrived on time for projects and reporting any issues back to the management team
  • Monitor labor hours and ensure employees do not go into overtime unless authorized
  • Coordination and resolution of on site issues/problems. Updating clients as authorized by upper management. 
  • Provide realistic, honest, and detailed accounts/updates of project progress and timelines to management and as authorized to its customers and vendors
  • 2+ years of similar experience 
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift
  • High school or equivalent 
  • Follows directions
  • Have valid TX driver license
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
  • Hook up Basic Audio Video equipment
  • Understands Cable TV and Satellite systems
  • Monday-Friday 
  • During the daytime from mornings till late afternoons
  • Full time
Pay Rate: 
  • $25-$30/Hour (Depending on Experience) 
  • Houston Metro Area
