Project Superintendent - Low Voltage Data Cabling

Job Description

Are you a seasoned construction leader with the skills to drive job site excellence and team performance? We’re hiring four Project Superintendents to support a major new construction project of multiple data centers in Abilene, TX. These roles are divided between Core/Shell and Fit Out teams, with both day and night shift positions available.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise field operations teams assigned to Core/Shell or Fit Out construction phases
  • Manage day-to-day on-site activities ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate schedules, labor assignments, and subcontractor activities
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and customer expectations
  • Execute installation tasks related to the construction of a data center environment
  • Communicate clearly with project management and engineering teams to resolve issues and align goals
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and BICSI standards
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction (structured cabling experience preferred)
  • Experience in large data center infrastructure, including safety and quality standards
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or training experience, with strong scheduling and coordination skills
  • Working knowledge of general building codes and BICSI installation standards
  • Proven ability to lead field teams with a focus on productivity, professionalism, and safety
  • Strong communication and organizational skills in high-pressure project environments
 
Schedule:
  • Monday – Saturday, 12-hour shifts
  • 48-hour work weeks
  • 2 positions on Day Shift, 2 positions on Night Shift
 
Pay Rate:
  • $40 – $47/hour (based on experience)
