Job Description
Do you want to work for a Toyota Supplier, but DON’T want to work rotating shifts? If so, we have the perfect place for you! This is a great entry level MIG Welding position in automotive production where you can gain skills and grow your experience! This company is located on the Toyota Campus here in San Antonio, and all you need is a great attitude & work performance. This a temp to hire position with frequent opportunities for raises and benefits as well!
Responsibilities:
MIG Welders Wanted! Join a specialized team that specifically MIG welds metal framing for popular Toyota vehicles. Expand your knowledge and skill while getting consistent hours with year round opportunities to work.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance for your vehicle to pass Toyota plant security. If you plan to have a friend/family member take you to and from work, they must have a valid license and insurance. A security pass will be given to you after you complete orientation.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to work in a loud, busy, fast paced industrial environment
- Must be able to work long shifts (10–12-hour shifts depending on varying workload) This requires you to stand, crouch, bend your body, and move material consistently throughout your shift.
- There is no bus route to this job, nor can you walk onto the Toyota Plant grounds. Must be by vehicle.
- Must have steel toe boots or must be able to get steel toe boots (Wal-Mart sells starter pair for approximately $28-$30 a pair)
- Must be able to attend orientation on Monday morning at 6:30AM
Schedule:
Monday - Friday! (Saturdays may be necessary)
- 1st Shift- 6:30AM - 3:45PM (Shift times can vary, there are times you might work as late as 6:30PM)
- 2nd Shift- 6:30PM - 3:45AM (Shift times can vary, there are times you might work as late as 6:30AM)
Pay Rate:
- $16-$18 Per Hour
- Depending Upon Experience
