Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
We’re seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support a growing manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone who is approachable, detail-driven, and comfortable balancing recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations.

Responsibilities:
- Managing full-cycle recruiting for temporary and direct hires, including interviews, background checks, onboarding, and orientation
- Processing payroll and maintaining accurate employee records within HRIS systems (Paylocity experience preferred)
- Administering benefits including enrollments, 401(k), FMLA tracking, and open enrollment coordination
- Serving as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers on policies, attendance, performance concerns, and corrective action
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal quality standards (ISO 14001/TS 16949 training tracking)
- Supporting reporting, workforce metrics, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, and training documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources required
- 3+ years of work-related experience required
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with Paylocity preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant/production floor environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to pass drug test and background checks
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 12 PM – 9 PM
- Some Saturdays May Be Necessary
Salary and Benefits:
- $50,000 - $70,000/Annually
- Two weeks off paid during the year in addition to holidays!
- Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits/401(k)
