Job Description
An established accounting firm is seeking a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team! In this direct hire opportunity, you’ll be responsible for maintaining financial records and providing consulting services to valued clients in a supportive team environment.
Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including annual bonuses, 3% 401K employer contribution, and the flexibility to choose between their San Antonio or Bulverde offices, allowing you to work in the location the best suits your needs!
Responsibilities:
- Offer consulting services to clients face to face, by video, and over the phone.
- Prepare detailed financial reports while managing multiple projects and client books efficiently.
- Process payroll reports in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Train client personnel in subsidiary account maintenance by following a developed system of verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Review clients’ financials and aid in developing solutions.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- 1 -2 Years of recent Full Charge Bookkeeping experience required.
- Previous experience working at a CPA firm preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Must have a high degree of autonomy. Independent judgement, and discretion.
- Excellent computer and organizational skills, including backing up and restoring files.
- Must be experienced with QuickBooks; QuickBooks Pro-Advisor preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8 AM - 5 PM
Pay Rate:
- $55,000 - $60,000 Annually
