Job Description

 
A local Concrete Construction company in Schertz is looking for a mechanically inclined Fleet Mechanic who will train and develop skills to maintain medium-heavy equipment for a concrete cutting fleet. Vehicles are diesel, with many having hydraulic components. 
 
The company can provide employee benefits such as pay every Friday, Medical, Dental, and Vision along with 401(K) plans and paid accrued vacations. We also offer additional bonuses for specific job positions as well as the potential for travel throughout the US!
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Preventive maintenance i.e., oil changes and brake jobs
  • Mechanical and Electrical Repairs
 
Requirements:
  • 1 - 2 years of heavy equipment or vehicle maintenance
  • Must be able to work long hours and overtime.
  • Must be okay with servicing vehicles at times on a work project site (outside in elements).
  • Must be mechanically inclined and adaptable to learning company equipment.
  • Must pass background check, drug screen, have valid driver license and decent driving history to eventually drive company vehicles.
  • Must be okay with commuting to the Schertz/New Braunfels area.
  • Must be 21 or older to work for this company.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and no DWI’s in last 5 years.

Schedule: 
  • Monday-Friday (mostly)
  • 6 AM-5 PM (mostly)
 
Pay Rate: 
  • $18.00 to $20.00, DOE

  • Northeast outside San Antonio
  • Schertz/New Braunfels, 78154
