An international food supply company, that services the world's largest grocery retailers, is seeking Food Production Team Members to join their amazing company! This position assists in the preparation, production, assembly, and packaging of food products and other related activities. Although the facility is fast-paced and cold, it’s also a friendly work environment and there’s plenty of overtime. You’ll definitely want to come bundled up because you are going to be working in a cold environment.
Responsibilities:
Assembly Department:
- Receive plastic bowls
- Fill plastic bowls with accurate food quantity
- Send properly filled and completed bowls down the line
- Any other tasks assigned
Packing department:
- Packaging finished products
- Any other tasks assigned
Food/Assembly Prep Department:
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes
- Weigh or measure ingredients, such as meats and liquids
- Prepare fruit and vegetables for cooking
- Cut meats, poultry, and seafood and prepare them for cooking
- Mix ingredients for salads
- Assist with assembly duties
- Any other tasks assigned
Requirements:
- Must be able to start immediately
- Must pass criminal background check and Drug Test
- Must be able to have near perfect attendance
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a busy COLD (35-45 degrees Fahrenheit) and wet Environment
- Able to work overtime as needed including Weekends.
Schedule:
Assembly and Packing Departments:
- Monday-Friday (Friday is until all work is completed)
- 1st Shift - 7AM - 3PM
- 2nd Shift - 3PM – 12AM (or as late as 1 AM on Mon-Thurs, as late as 3AM on Fri)
Food/Assembly Prep Department:
(Possibly additional days, depending on production volume)
- 1st Shift - 6AM - 3PM, Monday - Friday (On Friday is until all work is completed)
- 2nd Shift - 2PM to 11PM Monday - Thursday; 6AM - 6PM on Sunday
These times are approximate.
Pay Rate:
- $13.25/hour
Location:
- Northeast, 78218, near Eisenhauer & I-35, Bus accessible!
