Job Description
A New Braunfels construction company specializing in commercial and residential development is looking for an experienced Construction Civil Estimator to join their growing team!
This family-owned and operated business has spent the years building a reputation for quality workmanship, honesty, and their “do whatever it takes” approach to every project! If a stable and family-like atmosphere is what you are looking for, this is a great opportunity to gain experience and grow your skill sets while still making it home for dinner every night!
Once going permanent with the company, you are eligible for health insurance, accrued PTO, and raises based on annual reviews!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive Project Estimates/Proposals estimating cost of Site Work, Excavation, and Underground Facilities among other costs.
- Conduct thorough Material Takeoffs and Quantity Assessments.
- Prepare and submit detailed project proposals and bid packages based on the estimated costs and in compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
Requirements:
- 1 – 2 years of proven experience as Construction Estimator or similar role Required
- Proficiency in Estimation Software (e.g., Heavy Bid, Carlson) Required
- Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Detailed Oriented with excellent Analytical and Mathematical Skills.
Job Schedule:
- 6AM – 5:30PM
- Mon-Fri
- Must be okay with working full time and possible overtime as necessary to guarantee project completion.
Job Pay:
- $20 /Hour – Depending on Experience
