Position Description:
As our new business development specialist, you’ll be responsible for targeting and closing strategic clients both locally and regionally. This means you’ll be building business contacts, keeping your database up-to-date, and identifying and developing opportunities. Basically, you’re going to be the sales ninja we’ve been searching for.
  • Strategic account development, establishing and building business contacts, keeping database updated, identifying and developing opportunities
  • Engage with prospect organizations to position FirstOption Staffing through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data
  • Providing leadership to and being accountable for the performance and growth of accounts and for achieving and exceeding market goals
  • Evaluating and negotiating contracts in compliance with company standards, pricing structures, and other key process control.
  • Reports to the President
  • 2 + years sales experience selling to Human Resources, C-Level Executives, Hiring Managers, Business Owners, COOs, VP or Director of Operations and Branch Management level Clientele
  • Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to anticipate the impacts of decisions on clients and internal departments
  • Ability to understand and interpret situations, personalities, influences, needs and requirements to formulate effective negotiations and pricing strategies
  • Ability to work in team environment, lead in fast paced situations while taking directions and working independently in the field
  • Ability to travel, as needed
  • College degree or equivalent experience in sales, account and territory management
