  • As the Accounting Manager, reporting to the GM of Administration and Accounting Coordinator, you will have supervisory responsibility for several Accounting staff members.
  • This position will be required to review and analyze financial data to maintain the company’s financial stability, while concentrating on the areas of Closing, Standard Cost, Inventory, Fixed Asset, Budget Control for Manufacturing and Expense for reporting to the parent company.
  • Control Monthly Closing (include review and analyze) 20%.
  • Organizes and analyzes FA and Physical Inventory results 20%.
  • Daily/monthly Budget control for manufacturing 20%.
  • Report financial results to parent company 10%.
  • Manage Costing (Product costing, Standard Cost and etc.).
  • Supervise, Train and Develop the Accounting Team Members 10%.
  • Other Assigned Duties 10%.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work environment (5S).
  • Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility.
  • Understands product costing, including but not limited to standard costs.
  • Calculates costs for all product lines (material, labor and overhead).
  • Review and approve journal entries by team members.
  • Examines Open AP and AR monthly (include all account detail).
  • Organizes, controls, and reconciles the plant-wide Fixed Asset Physical Inventory twice a year.
  • Reviews monthly result fluctuations and confirms closing reports.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing company experience or related Automotive experience.
  • Or CPA with Minimum of 3 years of experience in at least 2 of the position duties listed.
  • Knowledge of computer systems (ERP) and spreadsheets necessary to perform position duties.
  • Proven ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and be highly motivated.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of meticulousness and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization (Japanese language skill is plus, but not requirement).
  • Ability to manage a team of accounting professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills (open to communicating with overseas partners).
  • Respect & appreciate diversity and Japanese company business philosophy.
  • Accounting leadership: 3 years (Required).
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8 hour shift
Pay Rate: 
  • Up to $120K, DOE
