Seeking a QAPI Director to add to our team!

The AQ/PI Director will help support our growing Quality department.
We are seeking a tech savvy individual with knowledge in the healthcare industry and experience with quality assurance and utilization duties to perform this role.

Essential Tasks:
Creating and implementing tracking and quality control systems.
Analyze quality control variables and other operational reports to detect changes in client care practices.
Responsible for programs, policies, procedures and monitoring that ensure that all departments are in compliance with state, licensure, and HIPAA regulations.
Provide support and guidance to the Quality Assurance corporate Committee.
Work with the Director of Support Services to provide support to and respond to the Board of Directors Compliance Committee.
Prepare compliance reports to present to senior management.
Must be able to travel to different locations in the state of Texas.

Essential Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Four to five years of experience in quality assurance or compliance programs with a hospital, home health agency, or other health-related organization.
Substantial clinical nursing experience with considerable background in medical and nursing care practices and procedures preferred.
Previous management experience preferred.
Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal relations skills and strong communication skills, bother verbally and in writing.
Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office software.
Knowledge of HelthWyse, DADS, HHSC, and TAHC.
Skilled at conducting internet research.
- Operational and management experience in the revenue cycle, billing, and collections.

- Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and strong analytic skills.
