AM Food Production / Machine Operator
Job Description
- Set up and Operate food processing machinery.
- Load and unload materials into machinery; inspecting products to ensure compliance with specified standards.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash disposal tasks.
- Weigh materials and maintain accurate records of production.
- Palletize products to be prepared for shipping.
- Use all required safety equipment in production areas, including hairnets, beard nets, safety glasses, approved hand gloves, etc.
- Consistently uphold safety standards.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
- One year minimum of work experience in food manufacturing required.
- Basic math skills (ratios, proportions, and conversions) necessary.
- The ability to clearly communicate with employees is critical.
- Ability to follow written mixing instructions while calibrating scales as necessary.
- Must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or move, assisting and/or lifting items of awkward weights.
- Must be comfortable in loud environments.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Computer literate
- Must be able to pass drug test & background check
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Monday - Friday
- 6:30am - 3:00pm
- $17/hour
